I’ve generally had good health, and have maintained a fairly normal body weight. Perhaps not ideal, but certainly not overweight. However, I’ve watched my weight steadily increase with the passage of time. I discounted it at first at “turning 40”. However, 2018 has seen a steady increase in weight and BMI. I got a bit of a wakeup call when I saw my body weight and BMI on aggregate, through the accompanying app for the Withings WiFi scale that we use at home. Here’s a snapshot. It doesn’t take a medical degree to spot the trend.
